History

The painter Salvador Dali was fascinated by Louis XIV, who was known as “Le Roy Soleil”, i.e. The Sun King. Dali even dedicated a watercolor painting to the King. Called ‘Le Roy Soleil,’ it inspired a perfume of the same name in 1995, followed by a “for him” version in 1998. The latter is a woody-aromatic fragrance with luminous accents. In 2012, the House of Salvador Dali unveils Le Roy Soleil Extrême, a more sensual and charismatic version of the men’s scent.

Range

Eau de Toilette 1.7 and 3.4 oz.

Bottle

The matte-black rectangular bottle is adorned with an engraving of the sun signed Dali. The bottle’s cap and neck are both golden.
