Description

Created as a collaborative effort between the perfumers of Firmenich and Procter & Gamble Beauty, this new essence reflects the House of Valentino’s passion and seduction. The fragrance is a sparkling blend of woody, floral and Oriental notes. There is the warmth of heliotrope, the classic scents of rose and orange blossom, and the zesty notes of pink grapefruit and green fig over a sensual trail of amber and Oriental woods.

History

‘I felt the need for a new women’s perfume that would reflect and celebrate today’s woman – her power, her femininity, her complexity.’ That’s what fashion designer Valentino has to say about his new women’s fragrance, christened V. The couturier, who dresses the most beautiful women from Jackie Kennedy to Julia Roberts, dreamed of a passionate juice for ‘chameleon women’. The ad campaign reveals the flamboyant Eugenia Volodino in nothing but a Valentino-red feathered mask. A suggestive attitude, blending ingenuity and sophistication, in which this ‘mysteriously masked angel’ is worshipped by ‘hundreds of red V’s floating irresistibly towards her’.

Bottle

A sophisticated, feminine bottle. Prestigious, timeless and atypical, thanks to its ‘V’ shape, that ‘allows its to be delicately laid on one side or the other’. The V’s printed on the case call to mind the brand’s lipstick.
